Over 23 years ago, the founder set out to source the perfect thread to meet the rigorous demands of leather and fabric upholstery in high-end furniture. Despite testing top European and Japanese brands, none met the standards required. This challenge sparked a bold decision—to develop an in-house solution. Partnering with one of the world's leading polymer engineers and their team, Bond1 Threads was created.

Today, Bond1 has evolved into its fourth generation: a flawless, high-twist polyester bonded thread known for its strength, consistency, and unmatched quality. This thread is trusted by manufacturers and artisans across Canada and beyond.
